We sell to individuals and workshops, as well as insurance companies.Our business idea is to recycle as much as possible from written-off vehicles. We dismantle and recover about 2 000 cars annually. The parts are stored in our 3 000-m² warehouse, which holds about 70 000 parts. Our goal is for all the parts to be dismantled and stocked within two weeks of the day that the vehicle enters our premises.

Ansta Bildemont AB complies with applicable distance selling regulations. All prices include VAT. The total price when checking out includes freight charges but not service charges.

Returns policy

The right to return a part is controlled by the Distance Selling Act (2005:59). As a customer of Ansta Bildemont AB you have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days of the day you receive the product. To speed up the handling of your request, please contact us before returning a part, but within 14 days of receiving it. Please quote your order number when contacting us.

The returns policy only applies if the part is in essentially unchanged condition. The part should be safely packed in a cardboard box with inner packaging. You are obliged to pay the postal charges for returning the part, except in the event that the part is defective or has been misdelivered by Ansta Bildemont AB.

Defective part

The majority of all spare parts are quality checked, but sold "as is". This means that Ansta Bildemont AB is not responsible for wear parts possibly included in the purchased spare part. Such wear parts are, for example, tension rollers, belts, coolant pumps, spark plugs, brake pads etc.

Ansta Bildemont AB is not responsible for failure caused by incorrect installation. The spare part should be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and/or in a workmanlike manner. Some repairs require (according to the manufacturer's recommendations) that wear parts are replaced when installing the spare part. Installing a spare part in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations also includes the obligation to check which components the manufacturer recommends replacing with new ones. Should you have the slightest doubt regarding installation and which wear parts to replace, please contact an authorised workshop or the vehicle manufacturer. Ansta Bildemont AB is not responsible for failure caused by accident, neglect or the like after delivery of the spare part.

Complaints need to be reported to us within two months of receiving and prior to any work with the part. Ansta Bildemont AB shall communicate the appropriate action for each case, for example replacement or price reduction.

Unclaimed packages

Packages will remain at the distribution point for 14 days. Packages that have not been collected within that time will be returned to the relevant supplier/salvage yard and a fee of 200 SEK will be charged.

General guarantees

We guarantee that used spare parts are free from defects at the time of delivery.

The seller is responsible for defects that are present at the time of delivery or that arise during the warranty period. The seller is not responsible if he can prove likelihood that the complaint regarding the spare part is a consequence of:

  • the car not having been serviced in accordance with the service instructions or similar documentation, including oil changes and service/inspections at the correct time and mileage.
  • a modified vehicle, e.g. tuned car.
  • the car having been used for racing purposes and thus overloaded.
  • the car having been involved in an accident or other external impact.
  • the car not having been adequately maintained.
  • repair and installation work not having been correctly performed.

Not considered a fault:

  • Fine tuning or adjustment measures that may be required in connection with the installation of the spare part.
  • Normal wear.
  • The warranty period varies depending on the spare part’s mileage and age. If the customer wishes to report a fault, he must do so within a reasonable time, usually 14 days after the fault was discovered or should have been discovered. Complaints need to be submitted to the company prior to any action being taken.

Returns and exchanges policy

We do not operate a sale-or-return policy. Please contact Ansta Bildemont first should you have a complaint. Parts that have been modified without our consent cannot be returned. When returning a non-defective part within 30 days of the delivery date, the customer will receive a credit voucher equivalent to the part’s price or offered a price reduction of 20 %. All shipping costs will be charged. The right to exchange only applies to supplied parts. Removal and installation costs are not refundable. All parts can be exchanged within 30 days of receipt, with the exception of new and used electronic components and new and used special orders. Parts with a purchase price lower than 200 SEK will not be considered. We do not accept any responsibility for the functionality of components included with engines, such as clutches, coolant pumps, timing belts, drive belts/chains, intakes, manifolds, distributors, gauges etc.
